New Job for Alex!!

So we just found out that Alex got the recruiting job he applied for, yay! So that means no more deploying. I am so excited! It's really not fun feeling like a single mom with two little boys and now he'll be home all the time. Well he does have to go to a conference once a year for a week, like in Hawaii or something and I can go with him, so isn't it great to be me!!

HALLOWEEN

So we had a lot of fun on Halloween. One of the things Mason was so excited about was giving candy to the trick or treaters. So we did that for the first part of the night and then we went trick or treating with some friends around our neighborhood. Alex was so cute. He took Mason and his little friend by their hands and took them up to all the doors. Even when the kids were done, Alex still wanted to trick or treat. He was such a good sport. After we went home we watched Van Helsing and made some ice cream shakes. It was fun.

So it's almost Halloween and we are so excited. Mason is going to be Bumblebee - the transformer and Jax is going to be a chicken. Usually I would think that was stupid, but he is so stinkin' cute in his costume. We just got back from Maine visiting Alex's family. It is so unbelievably beautiful there. Everything is either green, orange, yellow, or red right now. We had a really fun time. Mason was really excited to see his nonna and papa. He was so excited for the plane rides too.
